Privacy & cookies
Short and honest: we collect as little as possible. No tracking cookies, no ad networks, no selling data on. Here is exactly what does happen.
Who processes your data
Rivven, based in Wageningen, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42148953. For anything privacy-related: info@rivven.nl.
The contact form
If you fill in the form on the contact page, we process your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to answer your question — nothing else.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to messages. We keep your message until the question is dealt with, and for at most twelve months after that so we can look a conversation back up. Then we delete it.
The message arrives as an email at our mail provider and goes nowhere else. We don't send you a newsletter; we don't have one.
Visitor statistics
We measure how many people visit the site using Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Umami sets no cookies and stores no personal data: there is no profile, no fingerprint and no way to trace anything back to you. We only see totals — pages visited, country, and whether someone arrived via a link or via Google.
Because no cookies and no personal data are involved, we don't need to ask your permission for this. That's why you won't find a cookie banner on this site.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. There are no ad pixels, no social media trackers and no embedded videos quietly watching along.
Links to other sites
We link to our own product sites, such as stepbystepapp.nl. Those have their own privacy statement. From the moment you click through, theirs applies.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. Send an email to info@rivven.nl; we reply within a month, usually much sooner.
If you disagree with how we handle it, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The site runs entirely over https. The form is protected against automated abuse and messages travel encrypted to our mailbox.
